Bretten for visitors

The old town with its half-timbered market square is the heart of Bretten. The reformer Philipp Melanchthon was born here in 1497, and the Melanchthon House draws visitors from around the world.

Every July Bretten celebrates the Peter-und-Paul-Fest, one of southern Germany's largest historical festivals, with thousands of participants in medieval costume. Book early if you're coming for it.

Your contact at Frankfurt Airport

We're based in Rüsselsheim am Main, just minutes from the airport, so we're quickly on site even when a flight changes at short notice.

Bookings, questions and changes go straight to us – by phone, WhatsApp or email.

Shared shuttle or private transfer?

Shared shuttles stop several times and follow a timetable, which often means long waits at the airport.

With us you travel privately at the time you choose. If your flight is late, the driver waits.

For very early or late flights there are few alternatives in the Kraichgau without your own car.

Stress-free arrival

We see when your plane really touches down and plan around it. From landing you have 60 minutes for passport control and luggage. Your driver messages you and waits in arrivals.

Behind the wheel are trained, licensed chauffeurs. Punctuality and a smart appearance go without saying.

Use the time

An hour and a half in the car is useful time. The V-Class cabin is quiet enough for calls, and you can open your laptop at your seat.

Prefer to sleep? Go ahead – the driver will wake you on arrival.

Working out your pickup time

Say you're flying to Istanbul at 11:20. With up to 100 minutes' drive from Bretten and 20 minutes in reserve, we'd suggest pickup at 07:20. You'd arrive at the terminal at about 09:20 – plenty of time for bag drop and security.

A morning in the Kraichgau

A typical departure from Bretten: alarm at 3:45 a.m., the V-Class at the door in Diedelsheim at 4:30. The driver loads the cases, the children keep sleeping in their seats. Down the B35 to Bruchsal, then onto an empty A5.

Shortly before six we stop at Terminal 1, in good time for a 7:40 Lufthansa flight. No car park, no shuttle bus, no crowded platform – that's the difference a private transfer makes when a holiday starts with an early flight.

Tips for plant visitors

First-time visitors to a Bretten plant rarely know the gatehouse or visitor parking. Our drivers do. Give us your host's name and meeting time and we'll plan the arrival accordingly, dropping you at the right entrance.

If you're staying several days, we can also bring you from the hotel to the plant each morning.

All districts of Bretten – Bauerbach, Büchig, Diedelsheim, Gölshausen, Neibsheim, Rinklingen, Ruit, Sprantal – plus Gondelsheim, Oberderdingen, Knittlingen and Sulzfeld.
