Discover Gernsbach
Stroll through the old town past the Old Town Hall and the Storks' Tower. Above town, Eberstein Castle sits among vineyards with sweeping views over the valley.
Gernsbach has a long history of paper-making and timber rafting. Hikers set off from here into the northern Black Forest, for example towards the Teufelsmühle or the Schwarzenbach dam.

Working out your pickup time

The B462 through the Murg valley is winding and narrow in places, especially with roadworks or timber trucks. That's why we prefer to leave Gernsbach a little earlier – for a 10 a.m. European flight, your driver rings at about 5:45.
It sounds early, but you'll arrive relaxed with time for a coffee at the airport.
