Frankfurt Airport to Malsch: private transfer to the edge of the Black Forest
- Fixed price
- Mercedes V-Class
- 7 seats
- Child seats
- 24/7
- Flight tracking
Malsch lies south of Ettlingen, right where the Rhine plain rises into the first hills of the northern Black Forest. The municipality also includes Völkersbach, Sulzbach and Waldprechtsweier – about 150 km from Frankfurt Airport.
Our Frankfurt Airport to Malsch transfer is private and fixed-price: met in the terminal, dropped at your door.
The route
We take the A5 south and exit at Karlsruhe-Süd, Ettlingen or Rastatt-Nord; Malsch is ten to fifteen minutes from each. Expect 90 to 110 minutes in total, a little more for hilltop Völkersbach.
Flight tracking, a name sign and 60 minutes of waiting are included.
Space for everyone and their bags
- One V-Class for up to seven people
- Child seats in every size on request
- Air conditioning and a quiet cabin
- Plenty of room for long-haul luggage
Is it good value?
Compared with a metered taxi over 150 km, a fixed price almost always wins. Compared with driving yourself, it depends on how long you're away – from a week of parking upwards we're often cheaper.
Compared with the train, it pays off when several people travel, because the price is per vehicle, not per person.
And there's the comfort: no changes, no waiting, no hauling bags.
Included in the price
- Pickup at your front door
- Meet & greet with a name sign at the terminal
- 60 minutes waiting after landing
- Company invoice on request
Malsch and its villages
Malsch has a historic centre, a striking town hall and a busy community life; its carnival season is celebrated with gusto.
Völkersbach sits high up in a forest clearing and is a popular starting point for hikes. Sulzbach and Waldprechtsweier lie at the foot of the slopes among orchards.
Coming for hiking or a rest? We'll drive you right to your accommodation.

What makes us different
Not an anonymous booking platform but a personal driver service. When you call, you speak to someone who actually organises your ride.
Our customers rate us 4.8 out of 5.
Who books with us
Commuters who fly for work and don't want to drive to Frankfurt themselves, families going on holiday, and older travellers visiting relatives abroad.
After 14 hours in the air, it's a relief to see someone holding a sign with your name.
Finding your driver
Before the trip you receive the driver's name and phone number. Send a quick message once you've landed and they'll tell you where to meet. Families with small children can be met right at the baggage hall exit.
You can make calls, work or sleep. The driver knows the route, follows traffic reports and switches roads when there's a jam.
Shared shuttle or private ride?
There are few shared shuttles in this area, and those that exist make several stops. Ours is private: just your party, direct.
You choose the pickup time – the driver adapts to your flight.
Working out your pickup time
Say you're flying to Lisbon at 07:15. With up to 110 minutes' drive from Malsch and 20 minutes in reserve, we'd suggest pickup at 03:05. You'd arrive at the terminal at about 05:15 – plenty of time for bag drop and security.
Carnival, festivals and flights
Malsch celebrates carnival in a big way, and on the main days some streets are closed. If you fly during that time, let us know where the driver can best stop. The same goes for village festivals in Sulzbach or Völkersbach.
We know these dates and plan for them.
Don't mix it up
There's a second Malsch near Wiesloch in the Rhine-Neckar district. Please check the postcode when booking: Malsch near Ettlingen is 76316. That way your driver is guaranteed to reach the right address.
If in doubt, add a note and we'll call you to confirm.
The last stretch home
Just past Ettlingen we leave the motorway and the landscape turns green. Along the forest edge we reach Malsch, past fields and orchards. For many returning travellers that's the moment home begins – without seeing another train platform.
Pickup areas
Malsch, Völkersbach, Sulzbach and Waldprechtsweier, plus Muggensturm, Durmersheim, Ettlingen, Waldbronn and Marxzell.
Just before departure
Keep your passport or ID handy and check in online the evening before. With your flight number we know whether you need Terminal 1 or 2 and drive straight to the right departure hall – saving time and nerves.
