Our route

We usually travel via the A5 and the B35 through Bruchsal, or via the A61 and Hockenheim – the driver chooses based on live traffic.

The trip normally takes 70 to 85 minutes. Early mornings are clear; afternoons around Darmstadt can be slower.

For arrivals, just give us your flight number and we'll adjust to the actual landing time.

Space for everyone and their bags

  • One V-Class for up to seven people
  • Child seats in every size on request
  • Air conditioning and a quiet cabin
  • Plenty of room for long-haul luggage

A town in transition

For decades Philippsburg was known for its nuclear power station, whose cooling towers were demolished in 2020. The site is now becoming a major grid hub for Germany's energy transition, bringing engineers, consultants and inspectors to town.

Many of them fly into Frankfurt. We meet them with a name sign and drive them to the site, the hotel or the project office, invoicing the commissioning company.

For project teams with changing members we set up fixed procedures and a single contact person.

What you can count on

  • Fixed price – traffic jams don't change it
  • Flight tracking and 60 minutes free waiting
  • Available around the clock
  • Free cancellation up to 60 minutes before pickup

History on the Rhine

Philippsburg was a fortress town for centuries, repeatedly fought over by France and the Holy Roman Empire. Traces of the fortifications remain, and the local museum tells the story.

Today the Rhine, its old side arms and the countryside around Rheinsheim shape the town. Cycle paths along the dyke lead towards Speyer or Karlsruhe.

How booking works

  1. Open the online form or call us.
  2. Tell us about passengers and bags.
  3. Accept the fixed price; confirmation is instant.

Meeting point details are in our pickup instructions; see also our cancellation policy.

Trust built on experience

Every day we drive guests between Frankfurt Airport and towns in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg. Long runs south are routine.

Our passengers' reviews – 4.8 out of 5 on average – are the yardstick we care about most.

Private, not shared

Some providers run shared shuttles with several stops, which from Philippsburg often means earlier pickup and a longer ride. With us it's just you and your companions, direct.

The price is per vehicle, so for families and small groups it's often cheaper than several seats on a shuttle bus.

Meet & greet at the airport

A friendly face after a long flight helps. Your driver waits with a name sign, takes over the trolley and leads you to the car park. No queuing at the taxi rank, no spelling out addresses.

Friendly but never pushy. If you want quiet, you get quiet; if you'd like local tips, just ask.

Comfortable for every generation

Grandparents visiting family abroad, parents with toddlers, business travellers with laptops – the V-Class has room for all. The driver helps with getting in and out and carries the luggage.

Child seats are free; please tell us the children's ages.

Example: when will we pick you up?

Your flight to London leaves at 08:10. We allow up to 85 minutes from Philippsburg, plus 15 minutes' buffer and the recommended time at the airport. Your driver will be at your door at 04:30, and you'll reach the terminal around 06:10.

Across the Rhine

The Rhine bridge to Germersheim places Philippsburg between two federal states. Many families have relatives on both sides, and many commuters work in the Palatinate. The state border doesn't matter to us – we'll take you on to Germersheim, Lingenfeld or Speyer if you wish.

Depending on your destination, the A61 on the Palatinate side can even be faster than the A5.

Planning project weeks

When specialists work on site for several weeks, flights often change at short notice. We work from a list of team members and flight details, confirm each ride individually and let the project lead know as soon as a guest has arrived.

One invoice at the end of the month covers all rides, broken down by person and date.

Cycling along the Rhine

The Rhine cycle route passes Philippsburg. Bringing your bike? Tell us when booking and we'll make room.

Areas we cover

Philippsburg, Huttenheim and Rheinsheim, plus Oberhausen-Rheinhausen, Dettenheim, Waghäusel, Graben-Neudorf and Germersheim across the river.

Good to know at Frankfurt Airport

Frankfurt is one of Europe's largest airports and the walking distances are long. Allow about two hours for bag drop and security on European flights and around three for long-haul. We'll drop you at the right terminal so you can head straight to check-in.
