Frankfurt Airport to Waghäusel: a short ride at a fixed price
- Fixed price
- Mercedes V-Class
- 7 seats
- Child seats
- 24/7
- Flight tracking
Waghäusel is one of the closest towns in the Karlsruhe district to Frankfurt Airport – about 105 km, usually just over an hour by car. By train, though, you'll need to change.
Our Frankfurt Airport to Waghäusel transfer works like a pre-booked taxi with a fixed price: a Mercedes V-Class, a driver waiting in arrivals and no meter running.
The route
Depending on traffic we take the A67 and A6/A61 via Hockenheim or the A5 via Kronau. Both run past Darmstadt.
Without jams it's 65 to 80 minutes – one of the quickest routes in the district. For a 6 a.m. flight, pickup at around 3 a.m. is enough.
We track your arrival flight; if it's late, your driver simply comes later.
The car we send
- Mercedes V-Class with individual seats
- Up to seven passengers plus luggage
- Baby seat, child seat or booster on request
- Quiet cabin for calls or a nap
Next to the Hockenheimring
Waghäusel is only a few kilometres from the Hockenheimring race track. On race weekends and big concerts, fans arrive from all over the world – many via Frankfurt. We take them from the terminal to hotels in Waghäusel, Hockenheim or Speyer.
Traffic around the track is heavy on event days. We know the back roads and plan time accordingly.
Motorsport teams and suppliers also travel with us, often with lots of equipment.
Our promise
- No meter – one agreed price
- Your driver tracks the flight live
- 24/7 booking and support
- Cancel free up to 60 minutes ahead
About Waghäusel
The town's landmark is the Baroque pilgrimage church of Maria Frieden next to the Eremitage, an octagonal hunting lodge built for the Prince-Bishops of Speyer.
Waghäusel consists of three parts – Waghäusel, Kirrlach and Wiesental – surrounded by asparagus fields and the forests of the Rhine plain. It's noticeably quieter than the cities around it.
Three steps to your ride
- Choose date, time and address.
- Add your flight number so we can track it.

Small, personal, reliable
We're not a big corporation but a personal driver service based in Rüsselsheim. You notice it in quick answers and short lines of communication.
Fixed prices, well-kept cars and drivers who take their job seriously – that's what we build on.
Fixed price instead of a meter
A metered taxi charges by distance and time. Stuck near Darmstadt, the fare keeps climbing. With us the price is shown when you book and stays the same.
We also drive a V-Class rather than a saloon: up to seven people and their bags, no luggage on laps.
Book online or call us around the clock.
Finding your driver
Before the trip you receive the driver's name and phone number. Send a quick message once you've landed and they'll tell you where to meet. Families with small children can be met right at the baggage hall exit.
You can make calls, work or sleep. The driver knows the route, follows traffic reports and switches roads when there's a jam.
Families, clubs and businesses
Families book us mainly for summer holidays – child seats are free. Sports clubs travel together to away games, and for larger groups we send several vehicles.
Companies receive proper invoices with all details their accounts department needs.
A real-world example
Your plane to Toronto takes off at 10:35. We plan the drive from Waghäusel at a maximum of 80 minutes, plus 15 minutes' safety margin. The driver rings at 06:00; you're at check-in by about 07:35.
Race weekend? Plan ahead
Around major events at the Hockenheimring, access roads are closed or congested. Tell us your exact accommodation in advance and we'll choose a route that avoids the closures.
For departures on the Monday after a race, book an early pickup – many fans leave at the same time.
Asparagus season
From April to June roadside stalls sell fresh white asparagus and local inns serve it every way imaginable. Arriving in season? We can stop at a farm shop or restaurant on the way to your hotel.
It's one of the small things that make arriving in this part of Baden memorable.
Close to Speyer and Heidelberg
Waghäusel is a handy base: Speyer's cathedral and Heidelberg's old town are each about 25 minutes away. We can take you there on a free day.
Pickup areas
Waghäusel, Kirrlach and Wiesental, plus Hambrücken, Oberhausen-Rheinhausen, Philippsburg, Kronau and Hockenheim.
What to expect at the airport
