Direct transfer to Hanau
Hanau lies about 40 km east of Frankfurt Airport. While trains connect Frankfurt and Hanau frequently, you need to change in the city first. A private car gets you there in about 35 minutes.
The town is a centre for precious metals, materials and chemicals, and many international visitors arrive here on business. We offer reliable pickups with name signs and invoices for companies.
Route
We use the A3 or A66 motorway depending on traffic. Around 40 km, normally 30 to 40 minutes.
Fixed price, not a meter
A metered taxi fare depends on traffic. Our transfer has a fixed price shown before you book, covering the whole vehicle for up to seven passengers.
Start of the Fairy Tale Route
Hanau is the starting point of the German Fairy Tale Route, which follows places connected with the Brothers Grimm. If you are starting a road trip here, we can bring you from the airport to your hotel or car rental station.
Industrial park visitors
The large industrial park in Hanau-Wolfgang and the precious-metal and materials companies in the city receive engineers, auditors and customers from all over the world. We pick them up in arrivals with a name sign, take them to the plant or hotel and bring them back to the airport after their meetings. Monthly invoices are available for regular clients.
Maintal, Bruchköbel and Erlensee
Neighbouring towns such as Maintal, Bruchköbel and Erlensee are part of our regular service. Many residents commute to Frankfurt and fly often for work. A fixed-price transfer avoids leaving a car at the airport for days.
Weekend in the Brothers Grimm town
If you have a free day, start at the market square with the Grimm monument, walk to the baroque Philippsruhe Palace on the river and finish at Wilhelmsbad park with its historic carousel. Everything is within a short drive, and Frankfurt is only twenty minutes away by train if you want to see the city as well.
Families from Hanau
Child seats are free and fitted before arrival. The V-Class has room for suitcases, strollers and beach gear. Because the drive is short, even small children are not in the car for long.
The Fairy Tale Route
The German Fairy Tale Route runs about 600 km north from Hanau to Bremen, linking places associated with the Brothers Grimm, such as Steinau, Alsfeld and Kassel. If you plan to explore it by car or bike, Hanau is the natural starting point.
Maintal, Erlensee and Langenselbold
Maintal, between Hanau and Frankfurt on the river Main, is about 30 minutes from the airport. Erlensee, Rodenbach and Langenselbold to the east are close to the A66. Nidderau and Schöneck in the north are further from the motorway and poorly connected to the airport by train, so a private transfer makes a real difference there.
Southern districts
From Grossauheim, Steinheim and Klein-Auheim on the Main, drivers usually take the A3 to the airport, which is often faster than the A66. Expect 25 to 35 minutes.
Coming home
After a holiday or business trip, nobody wants to wait around at the airport. Your driver is ready as you leave baggage claim, helps with the trolley and walks you to the car. About 35 minutes later you are home in Hanau. If your flight is late, we see the new landing time and adjust.
Philippsruhe and Wilhelmsbad
Baroque Philippsruhe Palace on the Main houses the Hanau History Museum, including an exhibition on the Brothers Grimm. Wilhelmsbad, an 18th-century spa park, has a historic carousel, a folly castle ruin and elegant spa buildings. Both are popular with visitors arriving via Frankfurt.
Older travellers
Your driver collects you at your door, carries your luggage and helps you into the vehicle. At the airport he stops right at the departure area, and on return he waits in arrivals and walks with you to the car. Folding wheelchairs and walkers fit easily.
Late evening flights
Even after 11 p.m. the drive takes about 35 minutes, and the price stays the same.
Brothers Grimm Festival
Each summer, the Brothers Grimm Festival stages fairy tales, musicals and plays in an open-air theatre in the Philippsruhe palace park, drawing tens of thousands of visitors. The historic Comoedienhaus in Wilhelmsbad offers performances year-round.
Payment
Pay online or by invoice. Cancel free up to 60 minutes before pickup; receipts are emailed.
