We follow the A3 motorway east via Aschaffenburg and Würzburg. Around 225 km, usually 2 hours 15 to 2 hours 30 minutes. A short break on the way is no problem.

Fürth, Erlangen and Herzogenaurach
Fürth borders Nuremberg and has quick access to the A3. Erlangen, a university city and medical technology hub, lies about 20 km north. Herzogenaurach, home of famous sportswear brands, is close to the A3 and therefore slightly quicker to reach from Frankfurt than central Nuremberg. We also cover Schwabach, Roth and Lauf.
Coming home after a long-haul flight
